Recommended Alloys
Three metals across three metal families — each chosen for its visual properties and finish quality.
Brass 260
Engraving, signage & hardware
Cartridge brass (70/30 copper-zinc) with a rich gold color that deepens with age. The standard for engraving plates, nameplates, decorative hardware, and architectural accents. Excellent machinability and polishes to a mirror finish.
6063-T52 Aluminum
Anodizable extrusions & storefronts
The premier aluminum alloy for anodizing — produces the smoothest, most uniform oxide layer. Standard for storefront framing, curtain walls, window systems, and any architectural application requiring a consistent color finish.
304 Stainless Steel
Railings, fixtures & cladding
Available in 2B (mill), #4 brushed, and mirror polished finishes. The standard for architectural railings, elevator panels, column covers, and decorative cladding. Corrosion resistant, easy to clean, and maintains its finish for decades.
